I love teaching people to make beautiful things from natural materials. Whether you are a beginner or improver, I am always happy to facilitate your learning. At my home, Plas Helyg, and in the Lammas Community Hub, I teach people to create sculptures and baskets, as well as hand made felt. Have a look below.
Willow & Felt making Courses
On my courses, I use my own organically grown, hand harvested willow, sometimes using bought willow as needed. On felt making courses, I mainly use my own hand sheared, Blue Faced Leicester wool, plant dyed using dyes from my own garden.
All courses run from 10am until approx 4.30pm. They all cost £50 for the day including willow. Wool for felt course charged by weight. Honey bee course £15 extra for metal frame. On my courses, I offer a brief tour of my smallholding, where you can see the willow beds, the garden, as well as the eco-buildings.
You can put your name down for my mailing list for any of these courses by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org
